8 JUNE 2017

Henley Women’s Regatta (HWR) is pleased to announce Bremont Watch Company as an official partner for 2017.  This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Henley Women’s Regatta, and part of that celebration will see the Bremont Award for Outstanding Performance being presented for the first time. The award will be given to the pair, double or single, who achieves the highest percentage of the current HWR record time during the regatta.

In addition Bremont will be sponsoring the HWR “International Crew Reception” which will take place on Thursday 15th June, at the River and Rowing museum, to welcome international crews ahead of the official start of the regatta.

Nick English, Bremont Co-Founder; “Having announced that Bremont will become the first Official Timekeeper of Henley Royal Regatta in 2017 it felt fitting to also work with the Henley Women’s Regatta. The Regatta course is literally a stone’s throw from Bremont’s main watchmaking facility and as a brand which celebrates all things British, adventurous in spirit and ‘tested beyond endurance’ it’s a lovely tie-in. We’re excited to see how it all unfolds in the coming weeks and will be thrilled to present one of our Bremont SOLO 37 models to the winner.”

Miriam Luke, Chairman of the Henley Women’s Regatta said, “We are delighted to welcome Bremont Watches as one of our official partners.  As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we remain dedicated to high quality competition as the focus of our regatta. The Bremont Award for Outstanding Performance is a fantastic opportunity for us to both drive and reward that competitive spirit. The International Crew Reception is where we welcome all crews who have travelled from abroad along with their supporters to our town of Henley and the Regatta. The reception is hosted at the River and Rowing Museum.”
