Times of races

Racing takes place over all three days.  The exact race times can be downloaded from the 'Draw' button on the home page. The approximate times for racing are:

Friday 18th        Qualifying races 9.30am-12.45pm; Racing 2pm-4.45pm

Saturday 19th    Racing 8am-6.15pm

Sunday 20th      Racing 10am-5pm, with the finals taking place 2pm-5pm

Entrance is free to the regatta site but there is a charge for car parking – download a map of the Henley Women's Regatta site for details of car parks

Spectators wishing to take lunch, tea or view from the Chairman's Enclosure would benefit from becoming Friends of HWR (formerly known as Subscribers - see subscribers page for more details)

Following races on the Umpire's Launch

Spectators who would like to follow races from the umpires launches should book tickets either at the start by Temple Island or in the Chairman's Enclosure. All passengers on launches should report to the start at least 30 minutes before race time to be seated in time for the race. Every crew recieves a free pass for the coach to follow each of their races and these should be confirmed 40 minutes before race time otherwise the seat may not be available. Places may not be booked until the race in the preceeding heat has taken place.

By Train

There is a National Rail Station in Henley  The regatta site is approximately 3km from the town centre.
On leaving the station, head towards the river and cross via Henley Bridge.

Turn left onto the tow path and follow the tow path for about 2km until you get to the regatta site.
