The Chairman's Enclosure
You can watch the racing from the towpath right along the course at Henley Women’s Regatta, but the best view of the finish line is available in the Chairman’s Enclosure.
From the elevated ‘mound’ in our exclusive and friendly Chairman’s Enclosure, you can see down river towards Temple Island. You will have an uninterrupted view of crews as they sprint towards the end of the race, and a clear line of sight across the finish line. It is an excellent vantage point to support your rowers whilst enjoying a comfortable setting.
With its charming, relaxed atmosphere, our Chairman’s Enclosure provides an opportunity to experience the very best of Henley Women’s Regatta. It is based in the prestigious Remenham Rowing Club on the banks of the River Thames in Henley. The Chairman’s Enclosure is the perfect place to eat, drink and meet up with friends for the duration of the regatta. It also has a free livestream viewing area to watch the racing right along the course. There is a licensed bar and seated dining (advance booking required).

Entry to the Chairman’s Enclosure
*3-Day Tickets are available at the discounted price of £35 for those aged under 23 on the first day of the regatta (under 5s go free). These ticket holders cannot book parking.
Life friends and ticket holders can collect their badges at the reception desk on arrival at the Chairman’s Enclosure. The day-appropriate card or metal pin badge must be worn at ALL TIMES in the Enclosure and, for Life Friends and 3-Day Ticket holders, shown on arrival each day. No card badge, no entry!
Previous winners of Henley Women’s Regatta are most welcome to join us in the Enclosure on Sunday from 11am to have a look around and enjoy the venue.
Hospitality and parking
Seated lunch in the Clubhouse with 3 options of main course: Baked Salmon, Fillet of Beef or Ginger and Soy Tofu Stir Fried Noodles. All served with hot potatoes and 2 salads, bread and butter. A choice of 3 desserts plus cream. Freshly brewed coffee, tea or fruit infusion.
Price: £52 per person
Afternoon tea: available in Classic or Vegan/Vegetarian and Gluten Free, served in the Clubhouse or as a ‘packed tea’ on the upper mound (you will be asked to select your preferences at the checkout).

Chairman's breakfast
Life Friends of HWR are invited to join the Chairman Naomi Ashcroft and the HWR Ambassadors in the clubhouse at the Chairman’s Enclosure for an informal buffet breakfast on the Sunday of the regatta from 10-11am.
Places must be booked in advance using the exclusive Life Friends Access Code supplied by email. Please contact friends@hwr.org.uk if you are a LIfe Friend and have not received this.
Group bookings and corporate entertaining
If you are supporting a particular team and want somewhere to gather as a group, organising a reunion for a former crew, or just a group of friends who love rowing, there is no better place to be than the Chairman’s Enclosure. Come and go as you please or we can reserve an area especially for your group.
A full day package is available for those entertaining clients and business partners. With reserved seating, two-course lunch or afternoon tea and the opportunity to follow a race from the umpire’s launch, there is no better way to showcase your business and Henley at its best.

Is your daughter thinking of studying abroad?
Many rowing families are aware of opportunities for their daughters to study abroad (mainly the US) whilst furthering their rowing careers. If your daughter is considering this, you might like the opportunity to talk with some of our volunteers whose daughters are or have recently been studying in the USA. The Chairman’s Enclosure is an ideal setting to have such conversations in a relaxed informal manner.

Attire and conduct
Guests in the Enclosure are required to follow our ‘smart casual’ dress code. The wearing of rowing kit is not permitted and the British Rowing Code of Conduct must be adhered to.
