New website on a laptop with WIN! splash

We’re proud to unveil the a sleek new look for HWR.org.uk – redesigned, re-energised, and ready to support the next chapter of Henley Women’s Regatta.

The first refresh since 2017, the new site is packed with more than ever before – a deeper archive of race results, an expanded trophy gallery, and more images capturing the drama and beauty of racing on the Henley reach. All of this is supported by the latest in secure web technology, of course. Whether you’re a competitor looking forward to next year’s racing, a coach mapping your crew’s 2026 campaign, or a past champion reliving the moment it’s never been easier to find the information and inspiration you need to be part of HWR.

HWR Chairman Naomi Ashcroft said: “The new website provides an accessible, flexible and robust platform for sharing essential informationfor sharing essential information with our competitors, volunteers and supporters as HWR continues to develop. We’re excited to be launching it now, in good time to support announcements about our plans for the 2026 regatta as well as providing regular updates on how HWR continues to evolve and supports women’s rowing.”

The site was developed in partnership with Trio Media, a Leeds-based agency, working hand-in-hand with HWR volunteers.

Helena Smalman-Smith, HWR’s Digital Lead, commented: “Trio brought strong expertise in design, intuitive user experience, and technical development. Crucially, they embraced our insight into how the regatta works and adapted their ideas to suit us. We’re delighted with the result – and we hope competitors, coaches, supporters, and commercial partners will be too.”

Trio Media CEO Claire Daniels said, “We were really excited to work with Henley Women’s Regatta, not only because of its incredible reputation in the rowing community, but also because of its strong values and the opportunity it provides for women in sport. As a female-led agency, we’re passionate about supporting organisations that champion equality.” Project Manager Ellie Craig, added, “The HWR team’s clarity of vision and commitment to detail have made the website project both rewarding and enjoyable.”

This new site isn’t just a facelift – it’s a celebration of past triumphs, a resource for the rowing community, and a platform to showcase the skill, dedication, and ambition that define Henley Women’s Regatta. Dive in, explore, and be part of the story!
