Spectators on the bank and viewers at home during the three days of Henley Women’s Regatta (HWR) 2025 will be treated to live race analysis from a top-tier roster of commentators, including Olympic and world champions.

More than 35 different voices from across the rowing world have signed up this year to make sure every race is covered live and online, enhancing the spectator experience.

The line-up includes HWR ambassadors and Olympic champions Grace Prendergast and Imogen Grant, Paralympic champion Erin Kennedy, and Olympic medallists Alison Mowbray, Eve Stewart, Becky Wilde and Zoe de Toledo. World champion cox Morgan Baynham-Williams will also lend her voice to HWR coverage.

Another commentator this year is Eleanor Brinkhoff, European champion in the women’s eight and bronze medallist in the women’s pair. She and Eve Stewart have just returned from winning gold at the 2025 World Rowing Cup in Varese, Italy, where they dominated the field.

Brinkhoff says: “Henley Women’s has always been a special regatta to me as it was the first major event I did back in 2019 with Dundee University. We were the first crew to ever do it making it to the final of the development coxed four. The fact it is an event where women are the focus is so important to showcase female athletes and the high level of performance that they bring.”

Several current rowing coaches and competitors will also help out on the commentary team, adding up-to-date knowledge of the crews racing along the iconic Henley stretch.

Many of the commentators, who are all volunteers, have previously called races at other events. For example Ella Stadler was the Oxford University women’s president in 2023/24 and commentated on pre-Boat Race fixtures this year, and is now set to take the microphone at Henley.

Anne Buckingham, a longstanding HWR volunteer who also acts as the international crew liaison, has commentated at a number of British Rowing events as well as HWR in the past.

HWR 2025 will be streamed live on YouTube throughout the regatta (20-22 June). Click here for more information on how to access the coverage.
