Car and trailer parking
Henley Women’s Regatta has a single car park for competitors (including minibuses and trailers, and vehicles carrying boats), spectators and volunteers.
It MUST only be accessed via Gate A (see map).
DO NOT PARK in the local lanes (Remenham Lane, Remenham Church Lane, Remenham village or Aston Lane) at any time. This will be enforced for the whole of the Henley Women’s Regatta week. Respecting our neighbours and the narrow lanes in Remenham village is crucial to the future of our regatta.
Compliance with parking requirements is a condition of entry. Any club whose competitors, coaches or supporters fail to adhere to the parking requirements may be excluded from the 2026 regatta or have racing penalties applied. They also may be excluded from future regattas.
You will require an e-ticket to use the car park. These can be booked up to and including the day you are attending the regatta. If you arrive without an e-ticket you will need to book one online to gain access. Cash payments are not accepted.
Towing vehicles will be supplied with appropriate hanger on arrival free of charge – this includes cars carrying boats for use during the regatta. There is a charge of £24.75/day or £60.50 for all three days +5% booking fee (2025 prices) for all other competitor and spectator vehicles.
Volunteers’ parking arrangements will be co-ordinated by their team leader.
During this year’s regatta it was brought to our attention that the volunteer code for use of the car park was being abused by a number of competitors, coaches and supporters.
The car park for HWR is run by The Copas Partnership and the parking charges are collected by them.
The continued running of HWR is dependent on our working relationship with The Copas Partnership. As part of this arrangement HWR is allocated a defined number of ‘free’ parking spaces for our volunteer team who give up their time to make the regatta possible.
Abuse of this arrangement therefore impacts HWR’s on-going relationship with The Copas Partnership, inconveniences our volunteers, creates additional administration and generally paints the rowing world in a very poor light.
HWR and The Copas Partnership will be writing separately to those individuals involved and their respective clubs to put matters right and collect payments due.
.Any behaviour that impacts our current parking and traffic management arrangements and creates nuisance to the local community, including The Copas Partnership and the Remenham residents, puts the future of HWR and the ability for The Copas Partnership to host future events at risk.
Compliance with parking requirements is a condition of entry. Any club whose competitors/coaches/supporters fail to adhere to the parking requirements may be excluded from future regattas.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
