Yellow temporary road signs like the ones pictured here apply to Henley Women’s Regatta. Please follow them. They are not only for Henley Royal Regatta.

This photo was taken outside the former Little Angel pub and you will see them if you drive over Henley Bridge from the town centre. They correctly direct you NOT to turn left into Remenham Lane but to head UP Remenham Hill. You should then turn left at the top of the hill and access the regatta via Gate A (see maps further down this page).

Please DO NOT arrive ahead of Car Park Opening Times. Crews competing in morning races are strongly encouraged to park their trailer the day before.

On race days, if you want to do a practice outing (see the Regatta Rules for permitted timings) on the course before racing starts, you will need to use one of the local car parks in Henley town centre (check charges/times when you park) and walk to the HWR site:

Car parking before Wednesday, 18 June 2025

The site will be under construction from Monday, 16 June 2025. For safety reasons, it is not acceessible during this time. Access to landing stages and boat racks will not be available until approximately 17:00 on Wednesday, 18 June 2025.

If you wish to train on the course before this you will need to make separate arrangements with the local rowing clubs.

Car & Trailer parking

Henley Women’s Regatta has a single car park for competitors (including minibuses and trailers, and vehicles carrying boats), spectators and volunteers.

It MUST only be accessed via Gate A (see map below).

PLEASE DO NOT PARK in the local lanes (Remenham Lane, Remenham Church Lane, Remenham village or Aston Lane) at any time. Respecting our neighbours and the narrow lanes in Remenham village is crucial to safeguarding the future of our regatta.

Compliance with parking requirements is a condition of entry. Any club whose competitors, coaches or supporters fail to adhere to the parking requirements will be excluded from the 2025 regatta and may be excluded from future regattas.

You will require an e-ticket to use the car park. These can be booked up to and including the day you are attending the regatta. If you arrive without an e-ticket you will need to book one online to gain access. Cash payments are not accepted.

e-tickets are free for towing vehicles/trailers (which include cars carrying boats). There is a charge of £22.50/day or £55 for all three days (+5% booking fee) for all other competitor and spectator vehicles.

Volunteers will be sent a code by their team leader to use when booking.

Gazebos may not be erected in the car/trailer park but you can book a gazebo pitch in the Spectator Zone. Additional space (booking not required) for gazebos is available at the back of Temple Island Meadows.

The car park is operated by our partners Copas Remenham Farm. The button below takes you to their booking portal.

Getting to the HWR Car Park

There is a strict one-way system in place for all vehicles from Saturday, 14 June through Sunday, 22 June 2025.

Access to the HWR Car Park at Gate A is via Remenham Church Lane off the A4130, Sat Nav RG9 3EX. Local signage will then direct you to Gate A.

Vehicles and boat trailers must NOT enter Remenham Lane via the junction near Henley Bridge. Please make sure that your trailer driver is aware of this.

All vehicles/trailers leaving the HWR site will go along Remenham Lane directly to the A4130 near Henley Bridge.

In the event of a major or minor incident the vehicle circulation pattern may need to be changed.
