Car & trailer parking

Please park all cars and trailers in the official HWR parking areas located in the Spectator Zone and accessed via Gate A.

Parking on Remenham Lane, Remenham Church Lane and by the church causes congestion and makes it very difficult for the local community who have previously lodged official valid complaints. Any car parking in local roads is likely to mean that we will have to pay for traffic management which will result in an increase of the regatta entry fee.

To avoid issues a one-way traffic flow (see below) has been put in place and your cooperation would be greatly appreciated.

Book parking

Car and trailer parking tickets are available from HWR Parking.

Parking tickets can be booked up to and including the day attending the regatta, Tickets are issued as e-tickets which can be printed or presented on a mobile device at Gate A for access to the regatta site.
Please note that the parking e tickets will be sent out on Thursday 13th June

Cash payment is not accepted but Internet access is provided at Gate A to enable tickets to be purchased on arrival. Please pay in advance to avoid queueing and congestion at the entrance.

Please note that the first day of the regatta is very busy. which results in queues at Gate A. Competitors who are racing early in the morning of Friday 21st June should therefore prebook parking tickets and allow additional time to enter the site.

Car parking is free until Thursday 20th June. Charges apply from Friday 21st June. If you park a car overnight on Thursday you will need to pay for parking on Friday

The reduced rate three day pass is available until 12 midnight on Thursday 20th June

Disabled parking is the same price as a day ticket in an accessible area. Please click here for more information: Disabled Access

There is no charge for parking boat trailers and their towing vehicles, but please pre-book a space in advance.

The venue and HWR accept no responsibility for vehicles or property in the car park. Please do not leave valuables in your vehicle.

Boat trailer parking

Training days: trailer parking is available from Wednesday 19th June at 09:00. The car park gate will be locked at 20:30.

Please note that the site will still be under construction so access and landing stages might not be available until 12:00

A ticket must be booked for all trailers/towing vehicles. The ticket will only be valid when delivering, collecting or staying onsite. If the vehicle does not meet the following criteria, a parking ticket will have to be purchased on arrival.

Vehicles without a trailer will NOT be admitted unless you are collecting your trailer.

Cars bringing sculling boats are admitted if they have a boat on top of the car or are collecting a boat.

One-way traffic flow

The one-way system to access Gate A is for both spectators and competitors and must be strictly adhered to from the Saturday morning prior to racing (15th June) until the Sunday evening after racing has finished (23rd June)

Vehicles and boat trailers must NOT enter Remenhan Lane via the junction near Henley Bridge and must follow the one-way traffic flow signposted further up White Hill along Remenham Church Lane. Please make sure that your trailer driver is aware of this.
