Entry Process

Contact our entries team entries@hwr.org.uk as soon as you know that you plan to enter the regatta, We can help you through the process and assist with your queries.

Entries to the regatta are made on the British Rowing Online Entry system (BROE) and each club needs to enter their own crews.

Scottish, Irish and other overseas (not affiliated to British Rowing) clubs do not have to be affiliated to British Rowing but must use BROE to make their entries.

This requires a straightforward 4-step process:

Please register as early as possible to allow time to complete the process, remembering that every competitor needs to register on the system before entries can be made. The entry process and payment need to be complete before the close of entry (see Regatta Rules clause 4.2). Entries CANNOT be made after this date and any unpaid entries will NOT be accepted.

Please note that the last Monday in May is a bank holiday in the UK and British Rowing staff will not be at work that day to assist with the entry process.

Bringing a boat from outside Great Britain to Henley Women’s Regatta?

Overseas crews bringing their own boats (generally from Ireland or continental Europe) should also be aware that all boats also need to:

  • Display display boat identification stickers comprising a 6-digit (3 letters+3 numbers) code on their boat. Find out more >>
  • Be registered with the Environment Agency (EA) – a fee applies. This can be done via British Rowing. Find out more >>

Overseas crews renting boats should check with the club or supplier regardingf its boat identification stickers and EA registration, both of which are specific to the boat not the crew.
